Senadina Returns as an AstralOp in Honkai Impact 3rd's 9.0 Update

Senadina is stepping back into the spotlight in Honkai Impact 3rd — and she's brought a whole new wardrobe. According to Siliconera's Jenni Lada, HoYoverse has teased her return as an "AstralOp" character for the game's 9.0 update, with a first teaser trailer already tucked into the game's story.

The new look leans elegant: per Siliconera, this AstralOp Senadina wears a white dress with purple accents on details like the ribbons, all tuned to match her violet eyes. The report notes the redesign isn't just cosmetic either — it reflects an updated role for her in the ongoing story, offering fresh insights into what she can do.

If you're new to her, a quick refresher. Senadina arrived alongside the launch of Honkai Impact 3rd's Part 2 storyline — described in aggregated character listings as the arc's deuteragonist — and Siliconera notes she started out as an ally to the player's Dreamseeker avatar before the plot revealed there was rather more to her than met the eye.

Her first playable form was the Deepspace Anchor: First Light battlesuit. According to the official Honkai Impact 3 Wiki, that S-rank melee DPS suit — wielding a "Drive Core" yoyo weapon — landed with Version 7.3 on February 29, 2024. As for timing, Siliconera reports that — if the schedule holds — Senadina's AstralOp version should show up on a banner when 9.0 arrives on August 20, 2026. Based on the Chinese 9.0 launch, the outlet also expects some returning banner suits to join her, potentially Fu Hua's Fenghuang of Vicissitude (which debuted in 7.2) and Songque's Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer (from 7.6).
